Meet Katie | Founder of Peak Pose Yoga

Katie is a dedicated yoga teacher passionate about guiding students toward their highest potential — both on and off the mat. To Katie, every practice is like a journey we take together. It begins with a single breath, a grounded step, and the willingness to show up. Through mindful movement, intentional breath, and inner awareness, Katie helps students build strength, awaken confidence, and discover a deeper sense of peace within themselves. Peak Pose Yoga isn’t about perfect poses — it’s about personal growth. The lessons learned on the mat — presence, patience, and resilience — are the same tools that support us in everyday life. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or deep into your journey, Katie’s classes offer a welcoming space to rise, reconnect, and return to your true self — one breath, one step, one practice at a time.

This 6-week Hatha Core series is designed to strengthen your center and reconnect you to your natural rhythms.

Each class begins with an intentional core activation sequence to build stability, heat, and inner strength. From there, we move into a chakra-focused Hatha practice inspired by one of the elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space.

Through breathwork, steady holds, and mindful movement, you’ll cultivate strength from the inside out — physically, energetically, and emotionally.

🌱 Week 1 – I Am Earth

Rooted & Steady
We begin with grounding core work and move into poses focused on the root chakra. Expect stability, presence, and deep connection to your foundation.

🌊 Week 2 – I Am Water

Fluid & Flowing
Core work, followed by Hatha postures to awaken the sacral chakra. A practice of flow, emotional release, and adaptability.

🔥 Week 3 – I Am Fire

Powerful & Radiant
Ignite your center with focused core strength, then move through strong, heat-building asana connected to the solar plexus. This class is about confidence, courage, and transformation.

🌬 Week 4 – I Am Air

Light & Expansive
A steady core sequence followed by heart-opening postures to expand the chest and breath. We explore the heart chakra and invite lightness, compassion, and spaciousness.

🌌 Week 5 – I Am Space

Open & Aware
Slow, controlled core work leads into a spacious, mindful Hatha practice. Longer holds, deeper stillness, and connection to inner listening through the throat and third eye centers.

🌿 Week 6 – I Am Nature

Whole & Interconnected
A balanced core sequence and integrated full-body Hatha flow weaving together all elements. This is a celebration of strength, wholeness, and remembering that you belong — within yourself and the natural world.

This slow, heart-opening flow invites you to move with intention, curiosity, and care. At an unhurried pace, we balance warmth and effort with moments of ease, creating space to truly feel the body and breath. The sequence remains the same each week, offering a steady pathway to growth as we gently work toward Bird of Paradise. With supportive heart openers, mindful movement, and longer grounding holds, we build the strength and openness needed to rise and explore. Slow flow is not about rushing or pushing—it’s about moving with presence, patience, and trust.

a spicy yet accessible yoga class designed to challenge and support you.

In this safe and encouraging space, Katie will guide you through a dynamic

sequence that blends heat with mindfulness.

Here, your practice is your own. Each choice you make on the mat is an act of sovereignty,

a reminder of your strength, and a powerful step in your journey of transformation.

WEEK 2: "Keep the Fire Burning" – Consistency & Resilience

The importance of daily effort, even when motivation wanes.
 

WEEK 3: "Through the Fire" – Moving Through Discomfort

Discomfort vs pain — growth happens just outside the comfort zone.

Transformation means letting go. Burn through the old to reveal the new.
